We love riding, and we love helping a good cause. That’s why we are proud to be a sponsor of “Ridin’ 4 A Cure,” an event for ATV/UTV enthusiasts on Saturday, September 21 that helps fight breast cancer. Four Wheeler Heaven is proud to announce that we are taking this event up a notch with the addition of barrel racing and a mud bog to this one-day ATV festival!
Ridin’ 4 A Cure will take place Saturday, September 21 from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. at Highwall Park, which is located just outside Coaldale off of Route 52. This former mining site is a hidden gem that more than 15 years ago hosted an ATV festival featuring barrel racing, mud bogging and many other events, way before the Hatfield-McCoy Trails were even in our area. We were there way back then and are proud to be bringing back parts of the old Freedom Motorsports ATV Rally to next month’s Ridin’ 4 A Cure. Pre-registration is only $25, so come on down and show off your riding skills, take in the action from the sideline, or just have fun getting muddy for a good cause!
We also just received confirmation that Sandy Jay Bailey with Hillbilly Heaven Trail Guide Service LLC will be providing guided tours of the Hatfield-McCoy Trails during Ridin’ 4 A Cure, so you can explore the trails with a local rider who knows every nook and cranny of our area trails. Guided rides and trail rides will start at 7:30 a.m., the barrel race and mud pit will start at 1:00 p.m., food will be served at 5:30 p.m., and Chosen Road will begin playing live music at 7 p.m. Giveaways and door prizes will take place all evening after food is served.
You can find more information on Ridin’ 4 A Cure at http://www.ridin4acure.org/. You can also check out the event on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1946589898727429/. Mark your calendar for this awesome event, pre-register with a $25 donation per rider, and come on down to Highwall Park for a day full of fun, food and prizes for a good cause. We’ll see you there!
